Dads can be so hard to shop for! With Father’s Day right around the corner, today I’m sharing my personal list of Best Gifts for Father’s Day.
(For bonus points, many of these are available on Amazon Prime, so there’s still time to order them and get them in time for Father’s Day if you order soon. Yay for not having to pile kids into the car and take them shopping in a physical store!)
Best Gifts for Father’s Day
Bible Study Tools
There’s nothing like opening a brand new journal or having nice pens to write with. Here are some nice Bible Study accessories my husband enjoys:
Not only are missionary biographies fascinating and full of modern miracles, but many missionaries are good leaders and role models. Missionary biographies are inspirational for anyone, but especially for the Dad who lacks a Christian mentor in his own life.
If you’re like our family, the kids all have bikes, but Mom and Dad don’t! A bicycle with some fun accessories would be great for a Dad who would enjoy afternoon bike rides with the family. Why not take a picnic and make it a new family tradition? Here are some accessories to make that easier:
If the Dad in your life is even a little bit handy, here are some fun items he is likely to appreciate. I think two of Papa the Farmer’s favorite possessions are his tool belt and his cordless drill. He’s owned both for years!
Gifts For Leaders
Dads have a lot of responsibility on their shoulders. Why not give a gift that encourages them on their leadership journey and symbolizes the family’s thankfulness for his leadership and direction?
Papa the Farmer has probably had his shaving bag since he was in high school. It’s something that has lasted for years and he uses every day. Unless Dad sports a full beard, you can’t go wrong with this. (And even then, it’s a great place to store beard grooming items and other toiletries.) Here are a few nice ones I found:
Creation Science Resources
Creation Science is so fascinating! Here are some really interesting finds:
A campfire is a great way to spend time together as a family! Here are some fun campfire accessories Dad (and the whole family) will enjoy.
BBQ Accessories (Grilling)
There’s just something about cooking over an open fire…
Help Finding Things
If Dad frequently loses things, there are some nifty gadgets on the market to help him out! These are pretty cool:
I am totally serious about this. A pocket knife can be incredibly handy! You’ll be surprised how many things you use it for. And if Dad likes to cook, a great set of kitchen knives is a fabulous investment anyway, but it has the added bonus of making him feel like a warrior in the kitchen.
Our weekly ritual is that Papa the Farmer makes waffles for us every Sunday morning. Do you have a similar ritual? Waffle makers are no longer the boring one-at-a-time appliances you might remember from childhood. There are super-large ones that will help brunch be ready in a jiffy. Or, if you’re more adventures, there’s all kinds of novelty waffle irons that let you make waffles in different shapes! So fun!
Gifts for The Office
Does Dad spend his day in front of a computer? These little luxury items will make his day better! The mouse and keyboard are the ones I use and they are ergonomically designed and they are incredibly comfortable! There’s no going back to a regular keyboard and mouse after using these!
T shirts are a great father’s day gift! Here are some fun ones!
