What To Expect:
I used to teach a workshop called “Greek and Hebrew Word Studies for Sleep Deprived Moms (& Other “Normal” People Who Never Went to Seminary)” which would be perfect for a group study like this! The workshop was about digging into the original Greek and Hebrew words of the Bible in a way that is simple and not overwhelming, yet results in some really beautiful insights. My friend Lillian reached out to me recently and said “You need to turn that workshop into a monthly membership! The world needs you to do this.”
And I think she's right. Let's face it… as moms we have a lot of responsibility, not much time and we're exhausted. But God still wants to meet us where we are, and I can't think of another season of life where I personally need the Gospel more than this season right now.

Now, I haven't actually created anything yet. Right now this is all just in the idea stage, but what I am dreaming of is an online community where we begin with a workshop where I teach the basics of how I do this kind of Bible Study and then every month we dig in to a passage or a topic and discover together what God is saying.
What this would NOT be is me teaching theology.
What this WOULD be is me guiding you to study the Bible for yourself so that the Holy Spirit can be your teacher.
Learning to dig into the original Greek and Hebrew words has opened up a new layer of Bible Study for me. Words have meaning and learning what the original words mean have given me exciting and unexpected insights… and it will for you too.
This approach is helpful if you can relate to any of these statements:

Studying the Bible this way can help you go from being scattered with no system and dreading Bible time because it felt like a chore, to eagerly waking up each morning excited to dive into God's word and see what surprise He has in store for you today!
My vision for this group is that we will build a community where you can create relationships with like-minded Sisters in Christ. The most life-changing relationships I've had with other Christians have been with women I don't go to church with… This is an opportunity to not only have the accountability of studying together in a group, but also to encourage each other and connect on a deep level.
Bible study in this season of your life doesn't have to be overwhelming. In fact, it can't be overwhelming because if it is, we won't actually do it. I promise, this isn't overwhelming. Not at all. I will be right there with you, guiding you, and giving you all kinds of tools to help you along the way.
